Goalkeeping

                                      

Many say that the Goalkeeper is the most important position on the field. They are the last line of defence, and the first line of attack.

A goalkeeper can win a game with one brilliant save or become the villian with a mistimed dive.The nature of the position requires agility, speed, athleticism, confidence, bravery and good communication skills.

The areas which we cover include, warm up, footwork, basic handling, diving saves, catching high balls and crosses, reaction saves, distribution and kicking.
